Notes: Play up the Rancher aspect, like cattle rancher

A couple of years ago I thought up an idea to make a lot of money. I had the idea of becoming a worm rancher, and sell them for bait, and for gardens and farmers to use in their fields.

So, I got some old bath tubs, put them into my garage and filled them with layers of dirt and newspaper, and added in some decomposing bananas and apples and such. I started with a good stock of earthworms and watched my herd grow and fluorish.

Every week I would put more food scraps into the tubs, and sprinkled a half-cup of water into each tub to make sure they had enough moisture.

Once a month I would catch a sample of earthworms and weigh and measure them. My goal was for between 3 and 5 percent growth each month.

I started taking out ads in the local and regional newspapers, and even designed a billboard to advertise selling earthworms and their benefits.

I was doing really good. I even went and bought some nice boots, and a big belt buckle and a 10-gallon hat. I was a real earthworm rancher!

My herd was doing great and really growing. Unfortunately, though, I lost my entire herd on branding day.
