After mastering his skills, Sun Wukong returned to his mountain and ruled over the monkeys with wisdom and strength. But his ambition knew no bounds. One day, he heard of a grand banquet being held in Heaven, where the gods would feast on the Peaches of Immortality, which could grant eternal life.

Determined to join the banquet, Sun Wukong transformed himself into a humble messenger and sneaked into Heaven. There, he found the orchard where the Peaches of Immortality grew. Each peach took thousands of years to ripen, and their fragrance was so divine that even the gods coveted them.

Unable to resist, Sun Wukong plucked the largest, ripest peaches and devoured them one by one. With each bite, he felt his strength and vitality grow. When he had eaten his fill, he turned invisible and crept into the banquet hall, where he drank the gods' heavenly wine and ate their celestial pastries.

When the gods discovered the theft, they were furious. "Who dares to steal our sacred peaches and defile our feast?" they roared. But by then, Sun Wukong had vanished, laughing as he returned to his mountain. The gods sent an army to capture him, but Sun Wukong, now stronger than ever, defeated them with ease.

Realizing they could not subdue the Monkey King, the gods called upon the Jade Emperor, the ruler of Heaven. But even he struggled to contain the rebellious Sun Wukong, who had now become a threat to the very order of the universe.
