Paul Bunyan was a lumberjack, a legend of great renown,
With a mighty axe and muscles strong, he never let us down.
But beside him always stood, a creature grand and true,
Babe the Blue Ox, his loyal friend, with a heart as big as the sky so blue.
They roamed the land of forests vast, with trees as tall as towers,
And with each swing of Paul's great axe, they cleared the woods for hours.
Babe would pull the timbers wide, with strength beyond compare,
Together they were unstoppable, a duo beyond compare.
They carved out canyons with their steps, and lakes with every stride,
And when they passed, the land would change, with nature as their guide.
The Grand Canyon, the Great Lakes, and so much more they made,
With each adventure, they left their mark, on every hill and glade.
But it wasn't just their work that made them legends in the land,
It was their spirit, their friendship, their bond that would always stand.
For Paul and Babe, through thick and thin, were more than just a pair,
They were symbols of the pioneer spirit, with hearts as big as the open air.
So let us raise a cheer for Paul, and for Babe the Blue Ox too,
For their tales of adventure will live on, forever strong and true.
And though they may be just a legend, in the hearts of many they'll remain,
Paul Bunyan and his faithful friend, forever remembered in our refrain.
