Hare was always on the lookout for ways to trick the other animals and gain an advantage. One day, he came across a large drum sitting in a clearing. Curious, he tapped it, and to his surprise, the drum spoke. "Who dares to disturb my rest?" the drum boomed.

Hare jumped back, startled. "It's just me, Hare," he said cautiously. "What's a drum doing all alone in the forest?"

"I am a magical drum," the drum replied. "If you beat me in the right rhythm, I can call forth food, water, and shelter. But beware—if you play the wrong rhythm, I will take it all away!"

Hare's eyes lit up with excitement. He drummed lightly with his paws, and suddenly a feast of fresh fruits and vegetables appeared before him. He drummed again, and a comfortable shelter rose up from the ground. Hare couldn't believe his luck.

He quickly made a plan. Hare invited all the animals to a grand feast, boasting about his newfound powers. "Come one, come all! I have a magical drum that can provide anything we need!" The animals gathered, curious and hungry.

But as the feast went on, Hare grew greedy. He started drumming out of rhythm, hoping to summon even more food and riches. Suddenly, the sky darkened, and a strong wind blew through the clearing. All the food and shelter disappeared, and the drum rolled away, laughing as it vanished into the forest.

The animals turned to Hare, furious. "You promised us a feast, and now we have nothing!" they cried. Hare, realizing his mistake, tried to apologize, but the animals chased him out of the clearing. From then on, Hare learned to be careful with his tricks, especially when magic was involved.
