One day, Anansi the Spider stumbled upon a feast that the Tiger had prepared. The food smelled delicious, and Anansi's mouth watered. But he knew he couldn't just ask the fearsome Tiger for food—he had to be clever about it.

"Oh, mighty Tiger!" Anansi called out. "I heard you are the strongest creature in the jungle. But there's a rumor that you cannot tie a knot as well as I can." Tiger, insulted, accepted Anansi's challenge. Anansi tied a complicated knot around himself and asked Tiger to replicate it.

When Tiger tried, Anansi pointed out mistakes and showed him how to tie the knot. "No, no, you need to loop it like this," Anansi said, winding the rope tighter around the Tiger. Before Tiger realized it, he was completely bound and unable to move.

"Well, it looks like you can't tie knots as well as I can!" Anansi laughed, then proceeded to enjoy the Tiger's dinner all by himself. By the time Tiger managed to escape, Anansi was long gone, belly full and a story to tell.
