Category:Physical Comedy & Slapstick
Category:Repetition
Props:Lunch bag and sandwiches (can be mimed or real)
Notes:This skit is all about repetition and building frustration. Each act should be nearly identical except for the final reveal. Jester should be increasingly dramatic with the sandwich throwing. Great for younger audiences.

([Announcer] sets the scene.)

[Announcer:] It is noon, and time for lunch break at a construction site. Here begins Act 1.

([Jester] takes out lunch, looks into lunch bag carefully, picks out a sandwich, unwraps it, examines it and scowls.)

[Jester:] Peanut butter!

(He then throws sandwich away while others watch.)

[Announcer:] Act 2.

([Jester] takes out lunch, looks into lunch bag carefully, picks out a sandwich, unwraps it, examines it, scowls and yells.)

[Jester:] Peanut Butter!

(Hurls sandwich away while others look on, shaking their heads.)

[Announcer:] Act 3.

([Jester] repeats the actions in act 2. Another workman speaks.)

[Workman:] Excuse me for butting in buddy, but I've noticed that every day you look at your sandwich and throw it away. Why don't you tell your wife you don't like Peanut Butter?

[Jester:] You leave my wife out of this, I make my own sandwiches!

(Freeze. Blackout.)
