Props:None (or phones if available)
Notes:Three Scouts sit far away from each other, pretending to be speaking on the phone. The humor comes from the bad phone connection and the final operator intervention. Timing is important!

(Three Scouts are needed to perform this skit. They should sit far away from each other, pretending to be speaking on the phone.)

[Jim:] Hello, this is Jim.

[Jack:] Hello Jim. What's up?

[Jim:] I'm in Washington and I'm really broke. I need $100 right away. Can you help me out?

[Jack:] What's that, Jim? I can't hear you. Must be a bad line.

[Jim:] I'll call you right back.

(Ring, Ring sound)

[Jack:] Hello.

[Jim:] Jack, it's Jim, I need to borrow $100.

[Jack:] Jim, I still can't hear what you're saying. We've got a bad connection.

[Jim:] Let me get the operator to help us. Click. Hello operator can you connect me to Jack.

[Jack:] Hello.

[Jim:] Jack, it's me Jim again, I need to borrow $100.

[Jack:] I still can't hear you.

[Operator:] Hello, this is the operator. I can hear him clearly.

[Jack:] Then you give him the $100!

(Freeze. Blackout.)
