Category: 2-Scout Skits
Props: 2 sturdy chairs, set up side-by side
Notes: Every time Scout #2 looks back, they should swing the imaginary shotgun with them. If they turn towards Scout #1, Scout #1 shoud duck. Also note, "this big" is an important key phrase to make the punchline work.

Scout #1: This here's the Stagecoach. I'll be the driver!

Scout #2: I've got shotgun!!

Scout #1: Well now, we got to get this Stagecoach into town, and protect the gold.

Scout #1: OK, let's head towards town... Hiyah! (like shaking the reins for the horses, and Scout #1 starts bouncing like the coach is moving)

Scout #2 doesn't move, and just looks around

Scout #1 soon notices and bumps Scout #2 with his elbow to get his attention. Repeat the Hiyah!, and then both scouts start bouncing

Scout #1: Watch the bump! (both scouts mime hitting a bump)

Scout #2: (turns and looks back) There's someone following us.

Scout #1: Does he have on a black hat and a mask?

Scout #2: (turns and looks back) Yup!

Scout #1: How big is he?

Scout #2: (holds up his fingers about an inch apart) He's about this big.

Scout #1: We'd better get going.

(Speed up some)

Scout #1: Watch the bump! (both scouts mime hitting a bump)

Scout #2: (turns and looks back) He's still there. He's gaining on us!

Scout #1: How big is he now?

Scout #2: (holds his hands about a foot apart) He's about this big.

Scout #1: He's after the gold -- Hurry! Hurry!

(Speed up some more)

Scout #1: Watch the bump! (both scouts mime hitting a bump)

Scout #1: Is he still there?

Scout #2: (turns and looks back) He's still there!

Scout #1: How big is he now?

Scout #2: (holds his hands arms-width apart, vertically) He's this big!

Scout #1: Well, you have the shotgun - shoot him!

Scout #2: I can't shoot him.

Scout #1: Why not?

Scout #2: (holds his hand up with his fingers an inch apart) 'Cause I've known him since he was this big.

Scout #1: Whoa! (comedy stop with both scouts leaning forward together, then back into their seat.)
