Chicken Farmer
Category: | Chain Reaction Skits |
---|---|
Notes: | Two or more Scouts play the 'crew' in the truck. Works well with exaggerated motions and drawled dialogue. |
[Farmer:] I'd like to buy 4-dozen chickens, please.
[Hatchery Owner:] Ok, they will be 4 dollars each.
[Farmer:] Sold!
[Farmer:] (turning to the truck, shouts) Hey, will you get on outta that truck an' help usload up these here chickens?
[Narrator comes onto stage and announces:] 'One week later' then the cast repeats the process 2 more times...
[Hatchery Owner:] Man, you must have a pretty good sized farm going on now.
[Farmer:] Well, I really can't tell yet, but I think I'm either planting them too deep, or too far apart.
Upon agreeing on the sale, the two spit in their hands and shake.
[Farmer:] (turning to the truck, shouts) Hey, will you get on outta that truck an' help usload up these here chickens?
The scout in the truck gets out, and everyone loads up the chickens.
Once all of the chickens are loaded, the farmer gets back in his truck, and he and the crew all drive back to the Farm.
[Narrator comes onto stage and announces:] 'One week later' then the cast repeats the process 2 more times...
On the third time through, farmer announces that he would like to buy 5 dozen chickens.
[Hatchery Owner:] Man, you must have a pretty good sized farm going on now.
[Farmer:] Well, I really can't tell yet, but I think I'm either planting them too deep, or too far apart.
