When I was just a wee little lad,

full of health and joy,

My father homeward came one night

A wonder to behold it was,

And the moment I laid eyes on it,

The first time that I picked it up,

were two big buttons

It first marched left

I started to cry but my daddy laughted

When I turned around my marvelous toy

right out of his head
