Being honest when everything is going your way doesn't take much courage. The real test comes when honesty might cost you something - a chance to win, a moment of embarrassment, or even getting in trouble.
Did you accidentally see someone's test answers? Does admitting a mistake mean losing a competition? Would telling the truth get a friend in trouble? These are the moments that define whether you're truly trustworthy or just honest when it's convenient.
A Scout is trustworthy under all circumstances - not just when it's easy, but when it's hard. When it costs you something. When no one would know if you bent the truth. Because your character isn't measured by what you do when people are watching - it's measured by what you do when they're not.
