Service as Worship

| Notes: | Living your faith through actions is as important as any prayer. |
Most religions teach some version of the same truth: faith without action is incomplete. It's not enough to say you believe in helping others - you have to actually help. You can't just claim to value kindness - you have to be kind. Words matter, but deeds matter more.
When you serve at a food bank, help an elderly neighbor, or work on a service project, you're practicing your faith even if you never mention religion. Every act of service is a form of worship - a way of living out the values your faith teaches. And for some people, service IS their primary spiritual practice.
A Scout is reverent through service as much as through prayer. When you live the Scout Law - being trustworthy, loyal, helpful, kind - you're practicing nearly every religious teaching ever written. Your duty to God isn't just about attending worship services. It's about being the hands and feet of your faith through how you treat others every single day.
