This week, our country will pause to observe Memorial Day - a time to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their courage and sacrifice remind us that freedom is never free.
Scouts understand service and sacrifice. Every time we raise the flag, help a veteran, or show respect during a ceremony, we carry on the spirit of those who served before us. We honor their memory by living honorably ourselves.
