Living the Outdoor Code

Scouts, tonight we are reflecting on the Outdoor Code. It's more than just words we memorize—it's a promise we live every time we step outside.
- When we say we'll be clean in our outdoor manners, we're promising not to leave trash behind.
- When we say we'll be careful with fire, we're showing respect for safety and the forest.
- When we say we'll be considerate in the outdoors, we're sharing nature kindly with people and animals.
- And when we say we'll be conservation-minded, we're thinking about how to protect the world for those who come after us.
Every time you camp, hike, or even play in your own backyard—you have a chance to live the Outdoor Code.
Let's remember: being a Scout means leaving the world just a little better than we found it.
