This week, our nation celebrates Juneteenth - the day news of freedom reached the last enslaved people in Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It's a day to honor courage, resilience, and the long journey toward equality.

Scouts know that freedom carries responsibility - to stand up for what's right, to treat everyone fairly, and to help those whose voices aren't heard. True bravery isn't just found in battle, but in the quiet strength to choose justice and kindness.

A Scout is brave and loyal. On Juneteenth, we remember that liberty's work is never done - and it's our duty to keep building that better world.
