I Have a Dream: The Power of Words
On August 28, 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and shared a dream-one of justice, equality, and hope.
He didn't carry a weapon. He didn't lead with force. He led with words. With courage. With vision.
His message moved a nation, not because it was loud-but because it was true. "I have a dream," he said, "that one day, people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Scouts are called to be trustworthy, helpful, and brave-and to stand up for what is right, even when it's not easy. Dr. King reminds us that words can change the world, if spoken with heart and purpose.
