Hanukkah - The Light That Endures

In the next few days, people of the Jewish faith will be celebrating Hanukkah - the Festival of Lights. It marks a time when, long ago, a single day's supply of oil miraculously burned for eight nights, reminding all that light can endure even when hope seems small.
For Scouts, that light represents something familiar: faith, courage, and the will to keep going. When we face challenges, our inner light - the light of our character and beliefs - can guide us through the darkest nights.
A Scout is reverent, faithful in their duties, and respectful of the beliefs of others. Hanukkah reminds us that no matter what form our faith takes, it can shine brightly and inspire those around us.
