| Notes: | A closing that ends the meeting the way Scouts end a campsite: by leaving the room cleaner than they found it. Every Scout picks up three things before the SPL dismisses the troop. The room is clean in two minutes, and the meeting place stays glad to host the troop. Part of a series of short meeting openings and closings. |
SPL: 'Troop, attention. We leave every campsite better than we found it. Same rule here. Everybody pick up three things - chairs, trash, gear, anything - and then come back to your patrol.'
(Scouts spread out and pick up. Patrol leaders lead by doing it first.)SPL: (when the troop is back) 'Look around. That is what a Good Turn looks like when nobody asked for it. The people who let us use this room will notice, even if they never say so.'
SPL: 'Troop, dismissed.'
