SPL: 'Troop, attention. We head out [DAY]. Before we go anywhere, Scout sign. The Outdoor Code.'
Troop: 'As an American, I will do my best to -
Be clean in my outdoor manners,
Be careful with fire,
Be considerate in the outdoors, and
Be conservation-minded.'
SPL: 'Two. One thing for this trip: [ONE REMINDER - for example, "pack out every scrap of trash, including the tiny stuff," or "no fires outside the fire ring."]'
SPL: 'See you at the trailhead. Dismissed.'
